I have come to accept that “faux assemblage”, or imaginary constructions, has become my default style of painting for all my current work. I'm intrigued with this "Puzzler" series for a variety of reasons. Besides being a humerous take on jigsaw puzzles, these paintings also are a metaphor to life and to the way we, as humans, look at the world. We compartmentalize sections of what we see, and eventually we then see the entire picture.
All of these paintings are completed on one flat surface of 1/4” medium density fiberboard (mdf) and float 1” from the wall with a professional recessed support system. They all have painted sides and a lovely protective varnish. Most of these paintings are currently available. For PRICING AND OTHER QUESTIONS please e-mail doseth947@gmail.com
